A new user generally comes across a question in his/her mind
regarding the kind of blog entries he/she can create. The
answer to this question is “a blog user can create several
kinds of blog entries.” But to create a blog entry,
first the user has to click “Create” link on the
right hand side of the utility bar of his/her blog. A drop-down
menu appears with the following options:
A new entry
This is the option that a user chooses to create a standard
entry. When user clicks on this option, “create a new
entry” screen appears on user’s computer. There
is a default privacy setting questioned “who can see
this entry”? Is “anyone”? It means everyone
who views user blog can see this entry. If user wants to make
his/her entry private, he/she can choose another privacy setting
by clicking on the drop-down privacy list. When the user chooses
privacy setting other than “anyone”, it accepts
the entry as a private one.
A private entry
When user chooses private entry a new entry screen appears
asking user “who can see this entry?” Is “Just
I”. It means that user can be the only person who can
see his/her entry.
A review
If a user wants to write a review of a book, CD or DVD, he/she
can choose the review option. When user clicks on this option,
a review screen appears where there are options for choosing
review of a book or CD or DVD. If the user clicks “book
reviews” from the “Types of entry” box on
the left hand side of the screen, then the user can write
his/her review of the specific book, which he/she wants to.
