When several people write a blog it is called Group Blog. Generally group blogs are those blogs where several people are allowed to take part at the same time in any ongoing discussion. Most of the time people provide links to news stories, along with lots of commentary and discussion, giving these blogs the feel of a real community gathering.

 Some group blogs allow anybody to post contribution. It generally happens when a hot topic is discussed. First, a topic is displayed on the blog site, or there are some lines written on the blog. People give their opinion and/or suggestion in favor or against the topic through group blogs. Many times it helps while conducting the survey for getting people’s view in order to know judge the subject matter. For example, “US attack on Iraq, is it write or wrong?” The people’s opinion becomes clear with the result of blogger’s view.

 There are other types of group blogs, which allow certain people to contribute their opinion about any particular blog/s. Types of opinions largely depend on blogs’ mentioned people who offer their opinion about specific blog. Sometimes it may be members of a specific family, workers of a specific corporate sector, and/or members of a particular political party.

 Some group blogs provide one or more moderators the power to choose entries that actually is to be published on the site. Usually, readers of the blog become contributors after sending e-mails to a moderator asking for the permission. There are many group blogs, which allow people to post comments on message board. It depends upon blogs sites how they want to get people’s opinion.
