The Blog is a new selling option for the sellers. It gives
a positive response to the seller who takes the help of blog
in selling their product. For example, a survey shows that
online selling increases 35% of total sales of the seller
who takes helps of the blog to promote their product. The
survey reveals that most of the blog user wants to buy thing
by knowing details about that particular thing through blog.
According to the survey, “six to eight percent of blog
readers buy something. Once someone finds a blog entry and
reads the whole thing, they are about as qualified as you
can get.”
There are many examples, which can help the reader of the
blog to know how it is possible. The first one is a T-shirt
company having a habit to write long essays about the subject
of their product on the blog resulting in the increase of
sales of the specific T-shirt.
The second example is the Keiko Grove’s case. Keiko
Groves, a 19-year-old student, sells her original clothing
line through the help of LiveJournal Weblog. In the blog she
mixes updates of her funky modified ‘thrift shop’
clothing with pictures of her boyfriend and puppy. The result
showed that she made enough money to earn for herself and
blog has brought her to the attention of more established
designers.
So these two examples clearly suggest that if a user of a
blog tries to promote his/her product they can lucratively
take the help of blog for it.
